Vocal coaching

In the vocal studio,  the philosophy is to be true to your own voice. 

We focus on the fundamentals such as:

• proper vocal use 
• breathing
• articulation
• diction
• proper placement
• performance
• individual style

As your voice improves, we will find opportunities to explore other important aspects of being a singer,

such as:

• live performance
• studio recording
• harmony
• sight singing
• ear training
• songwriting

Becky has been teaching since 1990.  Studying Music Education/Choral and Vocal Pedagogy gave her a solid background in theory, performance, and ear training.   She has performed many different genres of music, ranging from Opera to RnB.  She is graduating from San Diego State University May 2010 with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance. She is a pro session vocalist, and is the voice usually heard in our original material.
