The focus is on music theory, ear training, improvisation, vocal development and personal growth.  I have posted our Vision Statement and Core Values which are what I hope to instill in every girl.  The participants of SDAGE are required to maintain their grades in school and fulfill all of their commitments to school and family before the obligations of the ensemble.  This group is meant to be a supplement to their experiences in the public school music programs, not to interfere or replace them.

 

SDAGE Vision Statement   Each ensemble member will value herself by learning self-esteem self-expression, and self-discipline through the core elements of music and ensemble-ship.  As an ensemble and as individuals, we will build our communities through example of kinship, leadership, charity, and contribution.
